2009 Proposed By-Laws Amendment
Article I, Section 2: Association’s Territory is being clarified:
The geographic boundaries of this Association shall be Erie and Niagara Counties,
which are located in the State of New York.
This change further conforms to NAIFA’s by-laws, which require the territorial
boundaries, as part of this section.
Article VI, Section 2; Section 3 & Section 5 (f); Article VII, Section 1 & Section 7:
All references to the “State Director” are being eliminated.
NAIFA-New York State eliminated State Directors from their Board. In its
place, 8 Trustees, throughout the State, are elected as State Board members.
Article VI, Section 5 (f) is being eliminated in its entirety.
