OFFICIAL ELECTION NOTICE
Please be advised that the following have been approved by the BAIFA Board of Directors
approved to run to be elected to the board of directors.
Three directors will fill three 3-year terms expiring on June 30, 2011. One director will fill a 1-
year term expiring June 30, 2009.

At this time the Secretary/Treasurer is slated to be vacant but may be filled prior to the
election or by presidential appointment at a later date.
Also, the Board of Directors has recommended submitting for a vote to the membership the
following proposed amendments to the BAIFA By-Laws:
2008 Proposed By-Laws Amendment:
To conform with the amended NAIFA by-laws as voted at the 2007 NAIFA convention, it is
proposed that BAIFA’s name be changed to NAIFA-Buffalo.
The first line of the title page would be changed, as follows:
Change: "Buffalo Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Inc." to "NAIFA-Buffalo,
Inc."
Article I, Section 1, would be changed, as follows:
Section 1. The name of this Association shall be the (delete: Buffalo Association of
Insurance and Financial Advisors, Inc.) (insert: NAIFA-Buffalo, Inc.)
